Cardiff Community Housing Association (CCHA) are starting work on the former Railway Club site on Sanquahar Street on Monday 3rd September. The work comprises the laying of the foundations, erecting the timber frame, building external brickwork and the completion of the 40 apartments.

The total scheme is expected to take 12 months to complete.

The building contractors carrying out the work are: MIDAS (Trading as mi-space), Gold Tops, Newport, NP20 5PA; Tel: 01633 211200.

To improve access to our recycling services, the Liberal Democrat controlled council has made Green Recycling Bags available for residents at Libraries and Leisure Centres throughout Cardiff.

So if you run out of bags and need some more, then please pick some up from:

• Roath Library on Newport Road
• Star Leisure Centre on Splott Road
• Splott Swimming Pool on Muirton Road
